An extraordinary, splendid production of the live edition of “Encyclopedia of Natural Healing,” 1997 (second edition 1998). The immediate impression is that this book must have been produced by bibliophiles who have poured their admiration for the books high quality in their production: colorful binding, first class paper, romantic, picturesque and informative color photos, encyclopedic format, it looks and feels like something substantial yet beautiful. No wonder he was awarded the Benjamin Franklin 1998 as the best book of the year!
Much more important for the consumer, however, is the fact that the Encyclopedia surely must be the first of its kind on the market! Having had access to and after reading a wide variety of books on natural health, I have never met such a wealth of information about it. Leafing through this very carefully, I found it remarkable in our time that Wikipedia was able to produced without yielding to pressure from promoters of New Age and related esoteria! Therefore, this book represents the best in his field of “basic principles of the philosophy of natural health”, a “history of natural health” (Hippocratic Paracelsus, Kneipp, Schoenenberger, to name a few, the pioneers of North America), a section on “Healthy Living Space” (discussion of many environmental topics, including organic gardening, safe remedy home and natural insecticides) to further research on body systems, nutrition, nutritional supplements, healing herbs, homeopathy, tissue salts and other natural healing methods such as acupuncture, chelation, chiropractic and magnetic therapy.
If you want to be informed in a systematic, precise and easy to understand, the choice must certainly be the encyclopedia as it offers not only the main section of health problems from A to Z (with specific instructions on how to use nutrition, herbal remedies, homeopathy, tissue salts and external / physical therapies) but also concludes with seven appendices which list resource material, a list of medicinal plants in Latin, English, French, German and Chinese, a glossary of medical terms and references. Spas across the world, a comprehensive index and measurement conversion tables. All this allows the reader to understand how self-diagnosis or the other of the 300 on the health conditions described and to find a natural treatment for herself, without relying on a visit to her doctor. Particularly enjoyable are the color photographs that highlight excellent, explain and improve the overall appearance of this volume.
I can not imagine a better gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and Christmas. The “Encyclopedia of Natural Healing” wants only the eye but also informs the mind and offers help and advice in this important area of our lives: our health.

It is difficult to buy books like this online because you can not see what the content really is. Is it user friendly book? YES! Remedies easy to use? YES! How easy you ask? So easy that my husband takes this book off the shelf at the first sign of a family member with a disease! (And I actually saw the play just for fun too), and text and remedies are not inconsistent with our Christian beliefs and relationship with Jesus.

I am a clinical nutritionist and almost every major book written. . Recently I bought this fantastic book and feel that I can sell my other books on health and nutrition. This is the most complete and jam packed book ever written. Filled with fun photos and lots of very useful information for clinicians and the average people who want to learn more about health, healing and more.
a true life long investment!
