A great little book most detailed common plants available locally. It has a description, uses and ad revenue for each plant. Also included are cons-indications. A great resource to have around when the flu virus is buzzing by!

I first heard about this book from an article written for my local newspaper. I love the garden and I am interested in medicinal plants. I have a few herbs in the garden. the book is even more than I expected. good information and images of plants under discussion. I highly recommend this one.

I found this book to the library and liked it so much that I’ll buy my own copy shortly. I have several books on medicinal herbs. This is the best I’ve seen tell you exactly how to prepare and use medicinal plants in the book. It does not cover everything, but it’s a very good start, and his instructions on the preparation and use are applicable to other herbs that are mentioned in other books.
