Is reflexology a complementary or alternative medicine practice? and why?

It’s an alternative medicine practice in and of itself, and it can be complimentary to other therapies you may be taking as they can be done at the same time and are both beneficial

Yep, Old Time Kid is right on this one too. Reflexology is alternative AND complimentary at the same time.

both lol
It’s complimentary in the sense that it can be used on conjunction with many other therapies. It’s a great addition to any healing routine and thoroughly enjoyable. :)
It’s alternative because it can be used on its own. It’s not something practiced by mainstream western doctors.

Both. However, I resent it being placed in a catagory that includes allopathic (drugs and surgery) when it prevents both of the above. It is most certainly not medicine. Medicine tries to overpower the body. Reflex techniques, such as reflexology, massage and Chiropractic work with the body and turn on natural healing.
