If the doctors haven't figured out what is wrong with you, I doubt a bunch of random bored people on the internet will know. However, my thoughts on the matter are: I don't think it sounds related to alcohol use or medication since you said it has been years since you had either of those. It sounds like it could be anemia, but they should have caught that in the blood tests. It could also be an endocrine problem (hyperthyroidism maybe), a heart problem (congestive heart failure, although unlikely), or a connective tissue disorder (lupus). There is also a possibility of some type of cancer. I think the reason your doctors have conflicting opinions is because you have nonspecific symptoms and they haven't found anything on tests yet that give them an answer. Don't give up hope! Eventually somebody will be able to put the clues together and come up with what is wrong.
References :
school

If you are completely OFF of the drugs and the alcohol now, it sounds like your body is going through a "detox" period. Getting those toxins out from the alcohol and the drugs you were given could take a good while, and detoxing does make you feel weak, too. Make sure you drink lots of water, and eat primarily raw veggies and fruits.....occasional meats like chicken or fish, and do continue the vitamins....our bodies have a marvelous way of restoring themselves (which God put in us)....give it a little more time...in my experience with doctors, all they are trained to do is to give you MORE drugs, and that is not going to be a long term answer for you.
Good for you for getting off of them, and off the alcohol......but you can expect detox to take effect, now that your body is cleaning itself out of these deadly things! Some health food stores may be able to help you detox quicker.....with some of their products......go and ask for a total body cleanser......it will most likely be a type of green vegetable juice mix, with herbs. Good luck to you.
