Blue Poppy Press has published another text brilliant co-authors Bob Flaws and Philippe Sionneau. The treatment of modern Western medical diseases with Chinese medicine: a textbook and Clinical Manual translated authors 30 years of collective experience. Bob Flaws and Philippe Sionneau took 72 modern Western diseases not seen in most English Chinese medical texts, and illustrates the patterns of disease and treatment protocols for each.
< br /> Like most texts in this field, the first section is devoted to the basic theories of models of diagnosis in Chinese medicine. However, unlike most texts, this first section includes an explanation of the leading practitioners and their theories accurate diagnosis is not taught in most Western schools of Chinese medicine. These include the theory of Li Dong Yuan-yin fire, Liu Wan Su theory-like transformations, and the theory of Zhu Dan-Xi Six depressions.

; The second section is the form of treatment. The 72 chapters are arranged alphabetically according to the medical illness discussed. Each chapter begins with the etiology of the disease allopathic and ends with some important points in terms of TCM. Diseases are decomposed into their different patterns of TCM, and a form of treatment is given for each, including herbs, patent medicines and acupuncture points. I found the additions “and” subtraction “a very useful reference tool to help individualize treatment.

There is no way to” recipes “plan treatment involves the use of acupuncture and herbal medicine. That this text tries to do is to present the basics of using each type of point acupuncture and herbs form for each ground of patients and enable students and practitioners to make their own decisions about who will be most effective in a clinical situation. I think that this text is an indispensable handbook to possess. The treatment of modern Western medical diseases with Chinese medicine: a textbook, Clinical Manual will benefit students and practitioners of both Eastern and Western medicine. I look forward to similar volumes in the near future.

Bob cited the West each disease and the diagnosis of TCM theory (Yin-Yang, heat cold, limiting waiting …) A then refers to the TCM treatment (acupuncture points and herbs Forms) for a such disease. I just want
it should be more diseases in the book because we have a lot of complications in actual practice and could not find in this text. In conclusion it is good and if your practice is so difficult
Can you find other books that have more disease in the West.
