accupunture and facial massage is an excellent treatment to stimulate the nerve.. On the other hand, i AGREE with Istcougarlady, prednisone should be taken asap. Also, take an anti viral medication.. So all that combined and u will be fine.. Remmember, it will get better but u need to stimulate the nerve.
ice is for dead people and fish. For TCM you should never apply cold as it chases a pathogen deeper and you’ll likely create a chronic condition out of an acute one. Hence, people who role an ankle, etc. and “ice it” frequently end up with some pain years later in that ankle. It might stop inflammation, but it’ll cost you later.
I did physio twice a week. Plus when u get it immed take prednisone. See neurologist at hosp or get from MD. Do excercises in front of a mirror talk out alphabet esp vowels. Do smiles, smerks, snarls, frowns and hold each pose for a second then relax. Put drops in eye to keep moist as eye does not tear properly. U can email me if u want.
Very informative video. My friend just got Bell’s Palsy. She is pregnant and cannot take any oral medications because of the baby.Acupuncture might be the answer for her. Thanks for your video.
my acupuncture Asian guy told me to apply heat. But massage therapist advised to apply chilly damp towel. Heat relaxes. Cold stimulates.
